Sometimes It Pays To Be A Benchwarmer.

The Seville Bench undergoes the exact same rigorous treatment as the dining table that you might want to pair it with.... 

The artisans meticulously filter out recycled hardwood for imperfections, separating the pieces with the most character and warmth that are defect free... they then introduce those individual pieces together and sand them slowly, gently, lovingly.... to perfection. 

Four coats of hard wearing German lacquer are then applied, with more sanding in between each coat... then more sanding until the surface is perfect.

The journey then continues onto the computer controlled kiln to really bake that lacquer into a hardened finish that will stand up to red wine, warm dinner plates or the morning coffee cup with no issue, only a smile. 

The Seville Dining Bench is not just another place to park while you wait for something else... This is a place to sit and ponder... what has all of this old timber been through before it got here....
