Summit Dining Table
Summit Dining Table
Unique Is An Understatement When It Comes To The Summit
Thick, grain heavy Mango wood is used to by seasoned artisans to hand make this incredible X-Design leg. The design has the added bonus of pulling the traditional location for four legs away from the corners, giving the feel of more space both when and when not in use.
The top of the table is made from reclaimed hardwood, each plank carefully selected by experienced hands that know exactly how to feel out imperfections, partnered with friends of similar grainy character.
Sanded to perfection, the artisan then applies 4 layers of the best lacquer that you can get... the good stuff from Germany... the stuff that you know will last. After that? Then it's off to the computer controlled kiln not just to let it bake and harden, but to really think about what it's done to deserve this treatment of opulent massage and heat... to think about why it is so special to have been selected for this second life as beautiful furniture.
But then... why stop there? The artisans expect this beautiful piece to stand up to their "Strength Guarantee"... So why not bolt the entire top to a steel subframe?
Overengineered? Maybe. Going to last longer than me? More than likely!
Add to the piece some optional adjustable feet and this table will sit flat and level, regardless of the cobbled tiled floor that it sits upon!
