The York 550 Lamp Table Is NOT Just For Lamps

I know it's called a lamp table. I can read that too. And, don't get me wrong, if you're looking for a table to ONLY hold up a lamp, lemme tell you, this thing is built to do it. The York Lamp Table is made from thick planks of sustainable Rubberwood. This timber is tough and has this really intense, fine grain to it that speaks to anyone who really loves timber. 

Here's the thing, though... It has a shelf... So..... Why limit yourself to JUST a lamp? Now, I know what you're thinking right now. "This guy has gone crazy! He's DRUNK with power and doesn't know when to stop. He's clearly off his ROCKER!" 

Rest assured, I know what I'm talking about. What are you gonna do? Put TWO lamps on the table? Like, one on the top and one on the shelf? Like, some sort of Lamp-Based-Inception? A lamp on a lamp? NOW who's crazy!? 

Think of this... Books! A lamp on the top and BOOKS on the shelf! No more of this "getting up to the bookshelf to grab a book and then sitting back down NEAR THE LAMP!" No way... That ain't your life anymore. Now you have the books that you're reading right there WITH the lamp and your comfy chair... like a WINNER! 

Or... Even better... A lamp on the BOTTOM and then BOOKS ON THE TOP... No... No no... that wouldn't WORK! WHERE WOULD THE LIGHT FROM THE LAMP TRAVEL TO!? THINK, YOU FOOL!!! THINK!!

Put the lamp on top. That would be better. Good thinking. You're so smart :)
